Colors, cats and coffee

Lucia Novelli is an italian painter whose art reflect the joy and love that the artist has for life. Having gone through tough expereiences in her personal life, she believes that even small things aquire a special value. In her paintings, anything may turn into a wonder, such as cats, geckos, ducks, flowers and trees, bodyparts, clouds, sky, moon, sun, coffee machines and other everyday objects, that mix in an explosion of colors that takes the shape of dreams. Her subjects blend, intertwine, in a fluid and continuous storytelling, which results in a surreal composition firmly embedded in reality.
